Congratulations to all our graduands who will be conferred with degrees on Friday, 22nd  September, 2023.The graduation will be physical.

Confirm that all marks entered in the SMIS are correct and all required units are complete.

  • All fees should be cleared at least one month before graduation.
  • Convocation fee should be paid before filling an Application for Graduation:

Convocation fee Ksh. 1,000.00

This payment is compulsory whether one attends the graduation ceremony or not

However, the growing demand for resource intensive animal products, and the industrialization of production has resulted in a wide range of environmental, social, and ethical concerns.

PANEL DISCUSSION ON CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION-IVC2023

The International Virtual Course 2023 (IVC 2023): “Tackling Climate Change through Global Learning” focuses on cross-disciplinary understanding of the trends and impacts of climate change on agrofood systems across the world, and co-developing innovative solutions for climate related challenges. The on-going course brings together academic staff and postgraduate students from Switzerland, Kenya, India & Brazil, with emphasis on collaboration across cultural borders via virtual channels.

PARTICIPATORY MONITORING OF RANGELAND RESOURCES IN ISIOLO COUNTY

The use of participatory approaches and methods in research, development, and humanitarian work has evolved in framing and content. Different terminologies have been used over time – Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA), Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), Participatory Appraisal (PA), and in the recent, the application of PA methods in animal health services and research dubbed as Participatory Epidemiology (PE).

The International Virtual Course 2023 (IVC 2023): “Tackling Climate Change through Global Learning” kicked-off on July 3, 2023. IVC 2023 is collaborative course that brings together lecturers and postgraduate students from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), Switzerland; University of Nairobi (UoN), Kenya; the Universidade Federal de Grande Dourados (UFGD), Brazil; and University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore (UASB), India.
