Dr Oscar Koech, from the Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology from 30 October to 2 November 2023 attended the Mid-term coordination meeting for the RAF5090 - Supporting Climate Change Adaptation for Communities through Integrated Soil–Cropping–Livestock Production Systems (AFRA) regional project. POLICY BRIEF: MAKING DEVOLUTION WORK FOR LIVESTOCK TRADING IN NORTHERN KENYA

This briefing paper was authored by Philemon O. Ngasike-A PhD student in Dryland Resource Management in LARMAT, It summarizes key findings produced during a stakeholder workshop entitled ‘Devolution and its Impacts on Livestock Trade in Northern Kenya’ held in Nairobi on 29 October 2019. County, national and international policymakers and practitioners attended the workshop.
