Ms. Carolyne Kyalo trained pastoral and agro-pastoral communities of Garissa and Kitui Counties on Participatory Range Management (PRM). The aim of this exercise to help these communities in identifying potential plant and grass species for the restoration degraded lands in which their livestock’s depends on.
The University of Nairobi Management lead by the VC, Prof. Stephen Kiama yesterday 20th, June, 2022, met Faculty of Agriculture and faculty of Vet Medicine to sensitize staff on UoN Foundation to be Launched on Thursday June 30, 2022. Dr. Koech provided a talk on Rangelands in the Wake of Climate Change: Need for Research and Innovations for Sustainable Rangelands Productivity.
