The Chairman, LARMAT, Prof. Geofrey Kironchi assisted by Ms Carolyne Kyalo today 11th August 2020 Successfully defended 2019-2020 performance contract (PC) of the department via Google zoom. This rates department performance that fall under four key pillars set by the University of Nairobi. These are; Financial Stewardship and Discipline, Service Delivery, University Core Mandate (projects “Big Four” Initiatives, Projects/Programmes aligned to SDGs, SPS and SP) and other crosscutting issues within growth of the varsity.

In any research monitoring and evaluation of study progress plays a crucial role both to the students and supervisors. It’s in this case University of Nairobi developed a mechanism of tracking student’s research. This can be ascertained through series of study research presentations to the supervisors and fellow students.
