HOW WELL CAN YOU ARTICULATE YOUR RESEARCH? - POST GRADUATE STUDENTS PROPOSAL PRESENTATION

In any research monitoring and evaluation of study progress plays a crucial role both to the students and supervisors. It’s in this case University of Nairobi developed a mechanism of tracking student’s research. This can be ascertained through series of study research presentations to the supervisors and fellow students. On 12th March, 2020, the Ag Chairman LARMAT, Dr. Oliver Wasonga assisted by the departmental students’ project coordinator, Dr. G. Karuku convened a post graduate proposal presentations at the department of LARMAT seminar room 207 .In attendance were students supervisors, lecturers fellow students and prospects student. Four students (1 Masters and 3 PhDs) shared their proposed project research. Most of proposal presented had crosscutting approach especially in Soil Science and Management of Agroecosystems and Environment. Students with guidance of supervisors and affiliated funding agencies are up to the task. Students who presented their proposal were; Joyce Aguk, Daniel Masika, Sarah Kangai Njeru and David Thenya We wish you well as you persue your academic research.
