In line with the University of Nairobi’s mandate to generate and transfer knowledge to inform practice and influence policy, and Department of LARMAT’S vision of providing leadership in dryland training, research and outreach, Prof. Oliver Vivian Wasonga from LARMAT has been providing technical support to AU-IBAR and ICPALD on Rangeland Resource management in IGAD region.

Bachelor of Science in Management of Agroecosystems and Environment in the fourth year presented virtually their special projects reports on 8th February 2023. We acknowledge the guidance and mentorship of their coordinator, Dr. Anne Karuma, and project supervisors in this vital exercise.
The Department of LARMAT laboratories are NEMA accredited and analyze soils and plant samples from within and out of the country.
