CALL FOR AGRO 2023 - BIENNIAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION

The AGRO-Conference 2023 Committee is pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the AGRO-2023 Conference, which will be held on October 25-26, 2023. Organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, the conference will feature both physical sessions at the Upper Kabete Campus and virtual sessions via Zoom.

SYMPOSIUM -INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE, FOOD SYSTEMS, AND CLIMATE CHANGE

The symposium was organized by Twaweza Communications in partnership with the British Council.  The theme of the symposium was  Decolonization and Cultural Heritage in Africa. It was held on 17-18th March 2022  Dr. Kibet participated in a Panel conversation on Indigenous knowledge, food systems, and climate change

FOOD SYSTEMS SUMMIT DIALOGUES

Dr. Oliver V. Wasonga from the Department of LARMAT participated in the online Food Systems Summit Dialogue on: “Transforming Pastoralism sustainably and innovatively to address key drivers of food insecurity and malnutrition: A Multi-sector dialogue from Kenya’s Frontier Counties” organized by Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC) on 18th May, 2021.
