Led by the Dean FOA, Prof. Moses Nyangito, students of Naivasha Girls Secondary School interacted with FoA Professors and Doctors, University of Nairobi. The virtual interaction and mentorship was conducted on 26th February 2021. Our goal is to get students experience at working in international spaces and as teams work on sustainable development goals mostly using their home institutions as case studies. The conference will test different ideas as it pursue great chance to partner with University of Nairobi and other institutions
The University of Nairobi has signed a new collaboration with School of Global Studies, Gothenburg University, Umeå, University, Makerere University, IGAD and ICRAF to research on innovative approaches in dryland borders of Kenya and Uganda focusing on livelihood improvement through rangeland (grazing areas) restoration and governance interventions. Professor Ingrid Öborn will lead the team from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
