Kenya has been ranked number 8 in Africa in the just concluded University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2020-2021 World Ranking . This is courtesy of the University of Nairobi top in the Country and 1222 globally. URAP aims in focusing on academic quality with goal to help universities identify potential areas of progress with respect to the six (6) specific academic performance indicators. These are:
