Prof. George Cheminingwa, The Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Dr. Oscar Koech from the Department of Land Resource Management together with Mr. Charles Otieno of World Vision International Officially handed over Tissue Culture Lab to IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School (ISTVS) in Somaliland.

Dr. Oscar Koech, and Mr. Musembi Kimeu from 12th to 17th November 2019 conducted field sampling and collection of invasive Prosopis juliflora seedpods in Baringo County. This is in line with sustainable use and management of the tree species. This is under the project entitled ‘Studying the Use of Mezquite to Improve Welfare of Communities in Arid and Semi-arid Zones of the World’.   A project funded by GCRF.
