The Covid-19 pandemic has had devastating effects on many aspects of global economies. In Africa where agriculture plays a critical role to the livelihoods of many people, the disruptions associated with Covid-19 containment measures such as restricted travel and closure of businesses have necessitated various response mechanisms. In order to take stock of the various coping mechanisms implemented during the last one year and draw lessons for improvement of the adaptive capacity in agricultural value chains the Department of Agricultural Economics CAVS, on 20th May 2021, organised a Webinar to address some of these issues. Over 111 participants were in attendance . Department of LARMAT was represented by Prof. Moses Nyangito, Dr. Oliver Wasonga and Ms. Carolyne Kyalo.
