On Thursday, 11th June 2020, over 118 University of Nairobi staff drawn from the 6 campuses were trained on use of google classroom for online exam preparation, processing and administration amid Covid-19 pandemic. The training was comprehensive and demonstrated understanding that this can be implemented with efforts of both lectures and students. However, this requires further scrutiny and training to fully understand the system with support of UoN Examination Centre personnel(s). The meeting took place via google meet and the training team will interrogate various issues raised. Online examination at the University of Nairobi follows guidelines approved the UoN senate and some courses have been administered using this platform In attendance from Department of LARMAT was Carolyne Kyalo and Martha Kimani. All lecturers in this department had been trained on the same and have been utilizing the platform in preparation for this semesters Exam.
