Dr Oscar Koech from the Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology participated as a Panelist in a Joint Learning Event on “Improving Livelihoods and Climate Resilience through Innovation in Kenya’s ASAL Counties” hosted by SNV in partnership with KALRO and WSTF on 14th-15th November 2023. Dr.SM Mureithi of Department of LARMAT, University of Nairobi accompanied by the Country Director of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Suisse (VSF-Suisse) ,(Kenya and Somalia) and Eric Rosana of VSF-Suisse Kenya are on a four day (from 2nd November, 2020)  scoping mission in Samburu County in preparation for the start of implementating the  “Building Drought Resilience in Samburu Through Sustainable Rangelands Management (DR-SRM) Project.
