He is a Associate Professor in Soil Science specializing in Ecohydrology and Water Resource Management in the Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology. He holds a PhD in Soil Science, a Masters in Soil Science, and B.Sc. degree in Range Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has published widely in his area of specialty.
