College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS), Faculty of Agriculture will host this forum today ,20th, February, 2020 under the theme: "Climate Smart Agriculture; Equipping, Engaging and Empowering Students Taking Agricultural Courses in Kenyan Universities”. The specific objective of the training will be:
To empower university/campus students by equipping them with agribusiness skills, exposing them to the professional setup through internships and job opportunities and building their capacity on climate smart agriculture. This will engage youth as active players in food and nutrition security consequently transforming agriculture through innovation and technology application. Speakers and guest will from FAO, CIAT, CSAYN, CCAFS, Wendy Farms & Safaricom/Blaze, Kenarava Group, GIZ, IFAD, UNEP, ICRAF, UN Women, UON and World bank group.
