CALL FOR APPLICATION : PhD POSITION

The Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology, University of Nairobi, is looking for a PhD candidate to conduct studies on Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and climate change mitigation interventions in selected dryland ecosystems of Kenya.The study is aimed at strengthening capacity for reporting emissions and generation of data to support Monitoring Reporting and Verification systems (MRVs) for the drylands.

Suitable candidates must have a master’s degree (with a minimum experience of 5 years) in natural resource management/environmental science/climatology. Those with knowledge in GHG accounting and verification system; climate change modelling and programming skills will have an added advantage.
