The Dean Faculty of Agriculture (FoA), Prof. Moses Nyangito and the Chairman department of LARMAT Prof. Richard Onwonga on 2nd February,2022 awarded, Ms Manirakiza Isidonie and Mr Felix Nimbona certificates of participation after successful completion of fellowship training at the FoA, University of Nairobi. Mr. Felix and Ms. Isidonie are from Burundi, the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock and National Veterinary Laboratory. The fellows have acquired skills and knowledge to apply back home in improving livestock productivity in a sustainable manner. The fellowship was sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and their fellowship supervised by Dr. Oscar K. Koech, from the Department of LARMAT. This is part of the University of Nairobi contribution to regional capacity development and strength in supporting international linkages.
