The University of Nairobi(UoN) today (29th January, 2021) celebrated 2019- 2020 achievement. This is done in recognition of UoN Performance Contract (PC) led by UoN PC secretariat and governed by four (4) main Criteria’s. These are; Financial stewardship, Service Delivery, Core Mandate and other Cross cutting parameters. Various Colleges, Schools, Faculties, Unit departments, Central administration departments, Institutions centers, and Regional learning centers were recognized for their outstanding performance. Faculty of Agriculture (FOA) which constituted by Department of Land Resources Management and Agricultural Technology, Dept, Plant science and crop protection ,Dept of Food Science and Nutrition Technology and Dept of Agricultural Economics scooped a 1st runner-up as the best teaching Faculty with Departments. Congratulations, Dean FOA, Prof, Moses Nyangito and your team for this success and strive to improve in 2020-2021 PC.
The event was occasioned by UoN VC, Prof. Stephen Kiama and was moderated by the Ag. DVC, Finance, Planning & Development, Prof. Margaret Jesang Hutchinson. In attendance was University of Nairobi Senate, College Principals, UoN Executive Board Members, Staff and students. It was conducted both virtually via zoom and physically at Taifa hall. To the Winners the Victory is for all UoN Community.Congratulations!!
