UNIRANK: UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI IN POSITION 7 IN AFRICA

The University of Nairobi(UoN) is ranked the seventh preeminent University out of 200 Universities in Africa. This is according to 2020 African University ranking conducted by uniRank. Three key selection criteria to the ranking of Higher learning institutions was based on;

PANDEMICS/EPIDEMICS, DROUGHT AND AGRICULTURE: BUILDING BACK BETTER

Dr. Oliver Wasonga Senior Lecturer and Range Ecologist  from LARMAT on 10th July 2020, from 4pm to 5.30 East African times participated in the Global framework on water scarcity in agriculture (WASAG) seventh webinar that was organized by FAO and UNCCD Drought Initiative. He was one of the four speakers with 150 participants in attendance.

THIRD WEEK; ONLINE EXAMS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRESSING WELL

Today the department of LARMAT conducted two exams online for undergraduate students with 98% attendance and successful exams answer sheet turned in. These were fourth and third year BSC in Management of Agroecosystems and Environment under taking Recycling and Bio-conversion of Organic Waste and  Environmental planning and Management respectively. It was noted as recommendable progress since inception of second semester exams 2019- 2020 amid Corona virus pandemic.
