UON PARTICIPATES IN REGIONAL INTERNATIONAL YEAR FOR RANGELANDS AND PASTORALISTS SUPPORT GROUP (IYRP) LAUNCH

On 16th December 2020, the Regional International Year for Rangelands and Pastoralists Support Group (RISG) was launched. This involves various stakeholders among them University of Nairobi (UoN). UoN officially joins the networks of international organizations, governments, NGOs, INGOs, civil society organizations, among other groups and individuals in the push for UN to observe and mainstream the IYRP. Dr. Oliver Wasonga a Researcher and Senior Lecturer in this LARMAT-UoN represented UoN in the RISG for Eastern Africa.
