Dr. Oliver Wasonga, A Senior Lecturer, in LARMAT was among 150 participants attended webinar on Knowledge Share Fair: Promoting innovation to build resilience against climate shocks. The webinar kicked off from 19th October 2020 to 23th October 2020. Dr. Wasonga chaired a session in this meeting on 20th October, 2020 which was very insightful to the participants.
The webinar was hosted by The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), in partnership with the Permanent Interstate Committee for Drought Control in the Sahel (CILSS) and FAO. The panelists were Dr. Djime Adoum, Executive secretary (CILSS) Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, Executive secretary (IGAD) and Dr. Abele Haile- Gabriel, Ass. Director and General presentative for Africa- FAO.
