Dr. Koech Oscar, a lecturer and researcher at the University of Nairobi (UoN), Department of LARMAT, and a researcher at African Dryland Institute for Sustainability (ADIS) at the University of Nairobi and Mr. Peter Kamande, from ADIS conducted a community training on pasture production and utilization in Turkana County. The training was carried on 13th June 2018. The training is supported by Accelerated Value Chain Development (AVCD) Sponsored by USAID Feed the Future initiative. The communities were trained on how to produce pasture as a business, value addition and conservation as strategic feed resources in the drylands.
